    ● Locate option of device info
    ● You’ll get the MAC address of the device.

  9. Can I Connect HDD to QUBO Camera?
  10. No, you can not connect Hard drive to QUBO Camera

  1. Does QUBO Smart Indoor Camera support Wi-Fi Dual Band networks?
  2. The Qubo Smart AI Camera device works only on 2.4 GHz WIFI.

  3. Can I pair/commission QUBO Camera with my mobile using mobile data connection and hotspot?
  4. You can commission the Qubo smart home gadget with a mobile hotspot but later you have to change the device internet connection to your home network, as internet is required for Qubo AI camera.
    Make sure your connected smart device on Wifi is using a hotspot from another mobile. Device shall not be commissioned if you are using the same mobile through which you had given the hotspot.

  5. What if there is no audio saying instruction on how to pair/commission after boot-up camera?
  6. Follow the below steps:
    ● Remove the Qubo Smart Indoor Camera from QUBO app from the device’s setting page.
    ● You’ll be redirected to the “add device” page.
    ● Follow the same commissioning steps to commission the device.

  7. How can I change Wi-Fi details in already commissioned/paired camera?
  8. For Indoor Camera, in order to change the WIFI setting
    ● Go the Indoor Camera’s settings option in the device
    ● Select the WIFI on the device
    ● Set the password

    For Home Security Camera
    ● Scroll down to “WiFI”
    ● Choose the WiFi to which you want your device to be connected.

  9. Can a single user connect/commission more than one QUBO Indoor Camera?
  10. Yes, you can add as many Qubo Smart Indoor Cameras

  1. How can I share access for my Smart Indoor Cameras to other members?
  2. You can do so by sharing login credentials of QUBO app. In order to share the credentials, you need to commission the device by “Create New user” instead of Sign in with Google.

  3. How can I remove members from accessing my devices?
  4. A pop up will appear whenever the limit of login is exceeded. From there you can remove access to existing users and add new ones

  5. Can the other members remove or delete my device?
  6. Yes, as simultaneous logins have the same rights.

  7. Is there any limit on the number of members I can add?
  8. As per Qubo subscription plan you can share your credential for simultaneous logins.

    Also, QR Code sticker is present on the bottom of the Qubo Smart Indoor Camera.

  9. If I have multiple devices configured, can I give specific device access to specific members?
  10. All the simultaneous logins have the same rights.

  11. Can I activate my Qubo connected smart device with another Camera Account?
  12. Yes. Remove the device from the previous account and reset and recommission the device.

  13. What to do if I am not able to register a purchased camera with my login account (after logged in)?
  14. Please follow the instructions on the app for the commissioning of the device. In case the issue persists, please connect with Customer Service on 1800 572 5757

  15. How do I remove QUBO Camera from one account and activate into another account?
  16. Follow the below steps:
    ● Go to the setting of the device.
    ● Remove it from the right top part of the setting screen.

  17. How do I Reset/Factory reset my QUBO Camera?
  18. Hard Reset Procedure 1:
    ● Make sure the camera is booted up
    ● Press Reset Pin for 10 seconds.
    ● Follow the instructions on the camera display screen

    Hard Reset Procedure 2:
    ● Press and hold Reset Pin
    ● Power On camera
    ● Release Reset pin after 5 seconds
    ● Follow the instruction on the camera display screen

  19. Can more than one user connect to a single QUBO Camera device through the app?
  20. Yes, depending on the subscription plan you have, you can do the needful.

  21. How do I create and register accounts with QUBO Camera?
  22. Please download the QUBO app from Play store/IOS. Follow the steps for login credentials and then move ahead.

  23. How do I change the password for QUBO Camera Account?
  24. Follow the below process:
    ● Go to the hamburger menu
    ● Go to my profile option
    ● Locate an option to change the password

  25. What to do if I forgot my password for my QUBO Camera account?
  26. Forget password option is available in the app. (You can also reset the password of Google plus)

  27. What to do if I forgot both my login id and password?
  28. The email ID used for the last login can be accessed. You would need to reset the password. If the Smart camera is commissioned, it needs to be decommissioned first. This will require details from the user for verification purposes.

  29. How do I remove and unsubscribe my QUBO Camera account?
  30. The user needs to click on the profile pic and then manage. By selecting Delete Account from Profile screen, users can delete their Qubo account.

  31. What are all my personal details does QUBO Camera Account will access?
  32. We capture only profile related details like Name, Email id, Contact number, etc. We don’t share this information with any third party and is used only for Qubo based notifications and messages.

  33. What are the mobile settings or data that QUBO Camera Account will get access or control?
  34. Qubo smart security camera will be linked only to the Qubo application.

  35. How close must the Indoor Camera be to my internet router?
  36. The range of distance of the Wi-Fi signal is determined by your router. We recommend keeping the security camera within 30 feet (10 meters max.) of your router. It should be within the 10 meters range without any wall or object. This distance can vary depending on obstacles such as concrete or stucco walls, metallic barriers, or other interference.

  1. How does QUBO Camera Record Video?
  2. The device comes with Artificial Intelligence Technology. You can program it to send commands to associated device i.e. camera to start recording whenever there is a motion/person detection. The device has 2 different ways by which you can trigger recording -
    ● Person Detection
    ● Motion Detection (object/person)

  3. Does QUBO Camera provide environmental monitoring in addition to video monitoring?
  4. There could be multiple issues that your Qubo Indoor Camera device must be facing. Below are some of them:
    ● Device is in offline state
    ● Low Internet connectivity
    ● Muted notification from mobile setting
    ● Didn’t set predefined parameters
    ● Notifications are Off in Phone settings

  5. Why is my QUBO Camera Video in Grey Scale (Black and White)?
  6. You can set the parameter according to your choice/requirement from App settings.
    Below are the steps for the same
    ● Go to Camera Settings
    ● Motion Trigger Sensitivity
    Here, the frequency of notifications can be controlled as below
    ● High – Gives notification for all kind of motions
    ● Low – Gives notifications for only large motions

  7. How can I avoid Motion detection caused by devices like TV, Fan and Tube Light etc?
  8. By creating multiple Zones (where motion is to be monitored), TV, FAN and Tube Light motions can be avoided. Maximum of 5 zones can be created by the user. It detects pets & person’s motion; You can set the parameter according to your choice/requirement from App settings

  9. Why is my QUBO Camera Picture not clear?
  10. Below could be one of the reasons:
    ● Check QUBO camera lens for dirt, dust, spider webs, etc. Clean the lens with a soft and clean cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners or aerosol cleaners that may harm the lens. ● Make sure the QUBO camera is not too far from the router. Also, check for downloading and uploading speeds are more than 2Mbps on mobile and camera respectively

  2. QUBO Indoor Camera provides environment monitoring only by using associated sensors such as Smoke, and Gas sensors.

  3. Does QUBO Camera have an audible alarm or siren? When/how is it activated?
  4. Yes (Trigger Alarm). It can be activated manually or through Alexa. You can even program it through routines provided in settings.

  5. How does QUBO Camera know when I'm home or away?
  6. You can program it through modes available on Application. You have to apply routines as per the requirement. There are three modes available on the app:
    ● Home
    ● Away
    ● Night Modes

  7. When QUBO Camera senses motion how will it notify me?
  8. Whenever a motion is detected, using Edge AI on the camera feed, the camera will start recording and notify you on the QUBO mobile app with a notification.

  9. What are the differences between away, home, and night modes?
  10. Depending upon your location, you can pre-define the actions that you want the device to perform. This is managed through the modes. There are 3 modes:
    • Home: If you are at home you might don’t want any routines.
    • Away: In case you are on Vacation or business trip, then you might have some routines.
    • Night: During night time you might want to set separate routines to secure your home or privacy

  12. It saves the memory & does not record an empty room. This way, you can save your cloud and SD card storage. Also, you would get the relevant notifications.

  5. Why can't I watch live video?
  6. Make sure both camera and mobile are connected to the internet. In case the camera displays offline, check the internet connectivity on both camera and mobile.
    Also make sure downloading and uploading speeds are above 2 Mbps on mobile and camera respectively.

  1. Why can't QUBO Indoor Camera hear my voice?
  2. This may happen if the mute button is kept pressed/On which stops the Alexa to hear the voice.

  3. How to setup Alexa in QUBO Indoor Camera?
  4. You can setup Alexa in the following two ways
    While Using Camera:
    ●Go to Camera Settings
    ●Tap on Amazon Alexa
    ●Tap Setup
    In case of Amazon Shopping app is installed and logged in, Alexa will be authorized automatically.
    In case Amazon shopping app is not installed, it will ask for Amazon credentials mail id and password.

  5. How do you enable smart home skills in QUBO Indoor Camera?
  6. Smart Home Skill will be enabled automatically during alexa authorization.
    In other way, user can login to Amazon Alexa app and Search for Skill “QUBO” and enable account link by providing Qubo account details

  2. QUBO Home Security Camera is a smart camera which can be used for surveillance. Its AI features such as motion detection and person detection can be used for both Indoor and Outdoor areas. This device works with Alexa and can be used for two way calling too.

  3. Where is the MAC Address or QR code on QUBO Home Security Camera?
  4. It’s below the device and the mac address is on app. Go to hamburger menu and Click on ‘My Device’>>Home Security Camera >> Device Info. By clicking on Device Info, you will get the mac address of the device

  5. What is the operating temperature recommended for the Camera?
  6. 0 – 50 degree Celsius.

  7. Does this product have in-built battery?
  8. No, Qubo Smart Home SecurityCamera doesn’t have in-built battery.

  9. Does Qubo Home Security camera has any power backup so it can work when there is no electricity?
  10. Qubo Smart Camera only works with direct 220 AC power supply.

  11. Is it waterproof/Weather resistant?
  12. QUBO Smart Home Security camera is weather and water resistant and can be used outdoor or Indoor.

  1. Does QUBO Home Security Camera support Wi-Fi Dual Band networks?
  2. No, this device works only on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

  3. Can I pair/commission QUBO Home Security Camera with my mobile using a mobile data connection and hotspot?
  4. The device can be commissioned using Mobile Hotspot but it performs best with a stable 2Mbps network. Hence, it’s advised to switch to a Wi-Fi network once it is commissioned.
    Make sure you are using a hotspot from another mobile. Device shall not be commissioned If you are using the same mobile through which you had given the hotspot.

  5. What if there is no audio instruction on how to pair/commission after boot-up camera?
  6. Check if Red Led is blinking/Steady on Home Security Camera. If its red LED led is steady, press the reset key for 10 seconds and wait for LED led blinking stage along with the Audio to set it to commissioning mode.

  7. How can I change Wi-Fi details in an already commissioned/paired camera?
  8. ● Go to app settings and scroll down to “Wi-Fi update” .
    ● Press and release the Reset button twice, and each press shall be held for 2 seconds long.
    ● Once the Red LED starts blinking on the device, now choose the Wi-Fi network to which you want your device to be connected.
    ● Scan the QR code, after that and wait for around 10 seconds for completion.

  2. By sharing login credentials of QUBO app. We suggest to not do not to Sign-in with Google if you plan to share your login credentials, because Login over an Android phone using google ID may sync up all your phone contacts to another phone.

  15. How do I Re-set/Factory re-set my QUBO Home Security Camera?
  16. Follow the below steps:
    Hard reset
    a. On the left side of the device you find a reset button.
    b. press It for 10 Sec.
    Please note, factory reset will make your device into its original system state by erasing all the previous information stored on the device in an attempt to restore the device to its original manufacturing settings.

  20. There can be multiple reasons that your camera becomes offline. Below are some conditions:

  22. There could be multiple issues. Below are some of them:
    ● Device is in offline mode may be because device is switched off or there is no internet connectivity.
    ● Poor Internet connectivity on mobile.
    ● Notifications are set to Mute in the android mobile setting.
    ● If the Qubo App notifications are disabled from android/iOS for specific device.
    ● If the Qubo App Notifications are disabled from Android/IOS Settings.

  2. Qubo Home security camera records video clip only if it detects motion or person, so that you are not flooded with hours of video recorded data and can just browse through meaningful video clips. You can select if the camera shall do recording for either motion or Person detection. Motion detection also records person detection events.

  3. Does QUBO Home Security Camera rotate, pan, or tilt?

  6. This means Night vision is on. The camera automatically switches to Night Mode depending on the lighting conditions.

  8. Make sure both camera and mobile are connected to the internet. In case the camera is offline, please check the internet connectivity on both camera and mobile. We recommend Internet speed should be at least 2mbps for proper downloading and uploading.

  17. What is the range for 2-way talk? Can I converse across 2 distant locations like home to office?
  18. There is no defined range for 2-way talk. With a strong internet connection, 2-Way talk can work seamlessly.

  2. The video recording by the Qubo Smart Home Security Camera happens when there are intelligent triggers based on Person detection or Motion based detection. It does not perform 24x7 continuous recording. With smart AI based triggers you will only get Videos when there is actually some useful actions or motions in front of the camera.

  6. By default, recorded content is stored in 1080P (High) resolution. Usually ~2.5 hours of recording takes 1 GB.

  7. Where are my recordings stored?
  8. If you have SD card then video recording stores in both Cloud storage & SD card in parallel. If there is no SD card, then recording gets uploaded in the cloud. Once recording is full, the system purges older data and rollover the recording.

  9. Is SD card provided with the QUBO Smart Home Security Camera?
  10. No, you can buy SD card and use it for recordings.

  11. How long would my data be stored on the cloud?
  12. It depends on your subscription plan. If you are on free subscription it will be removed within 24 hrs.

  13. My SD card is not working; SD card is not supportive
  14. On Application there is an option for format SD card, please format your SD Card.
