Basic Introduction & Key Features

The Qubo 3 Channel Dashcam Pro 2K is an advanced in-car video recorder that captures the front road, inside the cabin, and rear traffic simultaneously. It enhances safety, provides evidence in case of accidents or disputes, and records memorable journeys.

  1. 2K QHD front recording for crisp road footage
  2. Cabin & rear cameras included for full coverage
  3. GPS logging for route, speed, and location data
  4. Wide 140° field of view for greater visibility
  5. HDR night vision & infrared cabin camera for clear low-light recording
  6. Event-based and trip-based recording with G-sensor alerts
  7. Time-lapse mode to create condensed video highlights
  8. Wi-Fi connectivity & Qubo Pro App support for viewing and managing recordings

The dashcam supports microSD cards up to 1TB. Use U3, V30, or 4K UHD compliant cards for best performance. Lower performance SD cards may cause jerky video or improper functionality.

Setup & Installation

  1. Clean the windshield and attach the front dashcam using the adhesive mount.
  2. Connect the cabin camera to the Type-C port on the front unit.
  3. Stick the rear camera to the rear windshield using the adhesive tape provided.
  4. Route and tuck the cables using the included pry tool.
  5. Connect the power cable to the car’s 12V charger socket.
  6. Insert a microSD card and turn on the ignition.
  7. The blue LED will confirm power, and the device will announce: “Qubo Dashcam is ready for setup.”

Note: Lower performance SD cards will lead to jerky video and incorrect functionality.

No. The dashcam is designed for easy DIY installation. However, to enable Parking Mode, a Hardwiring Kit (sold separately) is required, and professional installation is recommended.

  1. Download the Qubo Pro App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Open the app, sign up/sign in, and select “Add Device.”
  3. Connect your phone to the dashcam’s Wi-Fi hotspot (default name: Qubo_XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX).
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and update the Wi-Fi name/password for better security.

Connectivity & Compatibility

You need the Qubo Pro App, available on both Android and iOS.

Yes, it supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for connecting with your smartphone.

Yes, it has built-in GPS to record location, speed, and route data along with your video footage.

Yes. However, if you are using Wireless Apple CarPlay or Wireless Android Auto, you must temporarily disconnect them while connecting your phone to the dashcam’s Wi-Fi.

Daily Usage

The dashcam supports multiple recording modes for different scenarios:

  1. Continuous Recording – Automatically records whenever the ignition is on.
  2. Event Recording – Triggered by jolts/impacts detected via the G-sensor.
  3. Trip Recording – Organizes recordings by individual trips for easy browsing.
  4. Parking Mode Recording (with Hardwiring Kit) – When the ignition is off, the G-sensor switches to sensitive mode and records unusual activity such as door opening, jolts, or windshield impacts.

Note: The rear and cabin camera feeds are not mirrored. They are captured in First-Person View (FPV) format for natural-looking footage and better visibility of number plates in the rear camera.

Yes. With front and cabin cameras plus audio recording, you can easily record scenic drives and create journey vlogs.

Yes. HDR technology and infrared (for cabin view) ensure clear low-light and nighttime recording.

Yes, you can generate time-lapse videos for any one day from the last five days.

Absolutely. The recordings act as reliable video evidence for insurance claims, accident investigations, traffic challan disputes, and road rage incidents.

Troubleshooting & Error Handling

Yes. The device may feel warm during long recordings or when Wi-Fi is active. This is completely normal.

  1. Format the card using the dashcam menu.
  2. Replace it if the error continues.
  3. Use a high-performance memory card (U3 / V30 recommended).
  4. Format the card every 6 months to extend its life.

  1. Clean all camera lenses (front, cabin, and rear).
  2. Clean the windshields where each camera is mounted.
  3. Ensure the cameras are aligned properly.

  1. Use a high-speed card (C3, V30).
  2. Keep storage free by transferring recordings to your phone/computer.
  3. Format the card regularly.
  4. Update the dashcam software via the app.

Parking Mode requires the Qubo Hardwiring Kit (sold separately) connected to your car’s fuse box. Ensure it is installed and enabled in settings.

This happens because Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto also uses Wi-Fi. Disconnect them temporarily to connect with the dashcam.
