QUBO WARRANTY POLICY

(Issued by Hero Electronix Private Limited)

1. General Terms

  • Warranty is applicable from the date of purchase as per valid invoice.
  • This warranty is valid only for products purchased in India through authorized sales channels (Qubo website, Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Swiggy, Blinkit, FirstCry, Bigbasket, Myntra and authorized offline retailers).
  • Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. Limited Warranty

Hero Electronix Private Limited (“Hero Electronix” / “Qubo”) warrants that Qubo products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.

If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, Qubo will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective product using new/refurbished spare parts only.

3. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Tampered, broken, or missing warranty seals.
  • Damage caused by misuse, accident, fire, water/liquid ingress, lightning, or natural disasters.
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or software tampering.
  • Any kind of wear & tear, cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration).
  • Consumables (filters, hoses, batteries unless specified, plastic parts).
  • Data loss, software/application issues unrelated to hardware defects.
  • Purchases from unauthorized or unverified resellers.

4. Warranty Coverage by Product Category

  • Free Onsite Visits: First 3 months from purchase date (only for Smart Door Locks, VDB, and Dashcams)
  • Visit Charges: INR 500 per visit after 3 months from purchase date
  • Other Products: Visit charges apply from day 1 for onsite support

Spare Parts Warranty: Replaced spare parts under warranty will be covered for the remaining product warranty.

5. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

  • E-commerce / Q-commerce Platforms: Raise replacement within platform’s return period.
  • Qubo Website: DOA claims must be raised within 7 days from delivery with invoice, packaging, and all accessories intact.

6. Out of Warranty (OOW) Policy

  • Products outside warranty or excluded under Section 3 will be serviced on a chargeable basis.

Charges:

  • Visit Charges: INR 650 per visit (valid for 15 days).
  • Spare Parts: Chargeable as per prevailing rates. Replaced spares carry a 3-month warranty.

Liability is limited to invoice value of the product.

Qubo is not liable for:

  • Data loss, profit loss, or business disruption.
  • Indirect or consequential damages.
  • Customer inconvenience during downtime.

  • Governed by the laws of India.
