Is free installation support included?

Yes! We offer free brand installation in 70+ cities across India by authorized technicians.

How long does installation take?

Installation usually happens within 2–3 business days in major cities. In B/C class cities, it may take more time. Customers are informed about the tentative time at the time of booking. A standard installation takes about 60–90 minutes.

Is professional installation mandatory, or can I install it myself?

We strongly recommend professional installation for the best performance. Free installation is included, so you don’t have to worry about DIY (Do It Yourself).

Is the lock compatible with double doors or steel doors?

The Qubo Wi-Fi Ultra Lock is designed for single wooden doors only.

What is the minimum door thickness required?

The door must be at least 3.5 cm thick for proper installation.

What if my door has an unusual design or thickness?

Our technicians will guide you during installation. For non-standard doors, we recommend contacting Qubo support in advance.

What are the unlocking methods?

The Wi-Fi Ultra Lock supports 8 convenient unlocking options:

  3. Qubo app unlock via Bluetooth
  4. Qubo app remote unlock via Wi-Fi (0# wake-up)

  8. Alexa and Google Assistant Unlock

Backup Option: A physical key is included for emergencies (battery drain or electronic malfunction).

Can multiple users access the lock?

Yes, you can register multiple fingerprints, passcodes, access cards, and remote unlocks. You can also provide temporary OTPs for guests.

Can I track who entered my home?

Yes! The Qubo app provides a detailed activity log showing every unlock event in real time.

Will I get notified when someone unlocks the door?

Yes, you’ll receive instant notifications on the Qubo app whenever the lock is used — whether it’s you, a family member, or a guest.

What is Passage Mode?

Passage Mode lets you keep the lock unlocked until disabled — perfect for guests or during times when the door is frequently used.

What happens if my Wi-Fi goes down?

No problem — you can still unlock with fingerprint, passcode, access card, app, OTP, or physical key. Wi-Fi is only needed for remote access.

Does the lock integrate with smart home devices?

Yes, it works with Qubo Video Doorbell Pro, Qubo InstaView, and popular voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Does the lock require charging?

No charging required. It runs on 8×AA Alkaline batteries.

How will I know when the batteries are low?

The lock sends low-battery alerts through the Qubo app and on the lock itself, giving you ample time to replace them.

What warranty does the Qubo Wi-Fi Ultra Lock come with?

It includes a 3-year brand warranty covering manufacturing defects.

How can I update my lock software?

After pressing 0#, go to the three-dot menu and select the third option — Update firmware/software.

How can I come to know if my lock is connected to the internet or not during regular operation?
  1. Go to Device Setting → Smart Lock Wi-Fi → Check connection status or update Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Green LED blink – Lock successfully unlocked or sent notification.
  3. Red LED blink – Lock failed to unlock or lost internet connection.
My batteries went dead while I was away. How can I operate my lock?

You can jumpstart the lock using a power bank. Connect the power bank using a wire to the Type-C port at the bottom of the front panel.
