No, Qubo Smart Indoor Camera acts as the control hub for Qubo Smart Gas Sensor. Apart from this, this smart home sensor requires an internet connection and a compatible Android or iOS device with the QUBO app.
How Smart Gas Sensor connects to Smart Indoor Camera?
Gas sensor uses ZigBee protocol to connect with Hub, which is Smart Indoor Camera.

The name of the App is “QUBO App”, it can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Can multiple Smart Gas Sensor work with QUBO App?
Yes, you can pair multiple Smart Gas Sensors with QUBO App.
Can the siren of the Smart Gas Detector be turned off through the QUBO Mobile App?
No, it can’t be turned off from Qubo App. However, you can press the center button of the Gas sensor to turn the siren off.

Yes, QUBO Smart Gas Sensor is absolutely safe to use as it passes the standard safety guidelines.
How will I get to know that there is a gas leakage?
Gas sensor has an inbuilt siren which blows off in case PNG/LPG gas is detected. One also gets a notification on their Qubo App.

What is the orientation to install the Gas Sensor?
The Qubo Gas Sensor shall be installed as shown in the below picture. If you install it in an inverted position than it won’t work due to the gravitational properties.
Will the QUBO Smart Gas Sensor detect PNG (Piped Natural Gas)?
Yes, Qubo Smart Gas Sensor is useful for the detection of PNG and LPG.
Can QUBO Smart Gas Sensor work with Apple Home Kit?
No, currently Smart Gas Sensor doesn’t support Apple Home KIT.
Which Socket is useful for Smart Gas Sensor?

Does it work on Electricity or Battery?
Qubo Smart Gas sensor works only with electricity.
Is there any specific location where the Smart Gas sensor shall be placed?
Yes, we recommend before installing the device, please confirm which gas connection you have at home, i.e. LPG or PNG. In case you have LPG, install the device approximately 0.3 meters from the floor. In case you have Natural Gas connection, Install the device approximately 0.3 meters from the ceiling.
