Door sensors are an essential component of your home security system: It can be placed on doors, windows, wardrobe, drawers, etc. and triggers notifications to the registered user on the Qubo Mobile App whenever the door opens.

It is advised to equip at least every entry/exit door with a Door & Window Sensor.

Can I use Smart Door Sensor without a QUBO Indoor Camera?
No, Qubo Smart Indoor Camera works as a controlling or central hub for All other Qubo Smart Devices including Qubo Smart Door Sensor. Apart from this, it requires an internet connection, and a compatible Android or iOS device with the QUBO app.
How Smart Door Sensor connects to Smart Indoor Camera?
Door sensor uses Zigbee protocol to connect with Hub, which is Smart Indoor Camera.

Device Installation and Functions
How do door/window sensors work?
Qubo Smart Door/window sensors use magnets to create a field when closed. Once that field breaks, the sensor triggers and sends you a notification on your Qubo App. The installation should be accurate and both the units should be aligned properly. Incorrectly installing the device may lead to false notifications. So make sure both pieces of the sensor are properly aligned and placed within 15mm of distance from each other.
What is the orientation to install Smart Door Sensor?
Peel off the plastic film from the back of the device and the magnet to expose the double-sided tape. Now the device (Wider part) should be pasted on the door frame and the magnet should be pasted on the door. Make sure both the units are less than 15mm apart. Keeping the door closed during installation will ensure better alignment.
Can QUBO Smart Door Sensor work with Apple Home Kit?
No, Qubo Smart Door Sensor isn’t supported with Apple Home KIT.
How would I get to know that door is open?
The sensor sends notification to the registered user’s Qubo mobile app. You can also setup a routine where once the door is open the siren will be played on Qubo Smart Indoor camera.
