The dashcam supports microSD cards up to 1TB. Use cards that are U3, V30, or 4K UHD compliant for best performance. Lower performance SD cards may cause jerky video and incorrect functionality.

How do I install the dashcam?
  1. Clean the windshield and attach the front dashcam using the adhesive mount.
  2. Connect the cabin camera to the Type-C port on the front unit.
  3. Stick the rear camera to the rear windshield using the adhesive tape provided.
  4. Route and tuck the cables using the included pry tool.
  5. Connect the power cable to the car’s 12V charger socket.
  6. Insert a microSD card and turn on the ignition.
  7. The blue LED will confirm power, and the device will announce: “Qubo Dashcam is ready for setup.”
Do I need professional help to install it?

No. The dashcam is designed for easy DIY installation. However, if you want to enable Parking Mode, a Hardwiring Kit (sold separately) must be installed, and professional help is recommended.

How do I set up the app connection?
  1. Download the Qubo Pro App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Open the app, sign up/sign in, and select “Add Device.”
  3. Connect your phone to the dashcam’s Wi-Fi hotspot (default name: Qubo_XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX).
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and update the Wi-Fi name/password for security.

Note: The rear and cabin camera feeds are not mirrored. They are captured in First-Person View (FPV) format to ensure natural-looking footage and clear visibility of details like number plates.

Can I record my road trips or vlogs?

Yes. With front and cabin cameras plus audio recording, you can use it for journey vlogging and capturing scenic drives.

Does it record at night?

Yes, HDR technology and infrared (for cabin view) provide clear low-light recording, even at night.

Does it support time-lapse videos?

Yes, you can generate time-lapse videos for any one day from the last five days.

Can the footage be used for insurance claims or disputes?

Troubleshooting & Error Handling
My dashcam feels warm. Is this normal?

Yes. The device may feel warm during long recordings or when Wi-Fi is active. This is normal.

My memory card shows an error. What should I do?
  1. Format the card using the dashcam menu.
  2. Replace it if the error persists.
  3. Always use a high-speed card (U3/V30 recommended).
  4. Format the card every 6 months for longer life.
My videos look blurry. How do I fix this?
  1. Clean the camera lenses (front, cabin, and rear).
  2. Clean the windshields where the cameras are mounted.
  3. Ensure the cameras are aligned properly.
My recordings are choppy or incomplete.
  1. Use a high-speed card (C3, V30).
  2. Keep storage free by transferring recordings to your phone/computer.

Parking Mode is not working. Why?

Parking Mode requires the Qubo Hardwiring Kit (sold separately) connected to your car’s fuse box. Ensure it is installed and enabled in the settings.

My dashcam does not connect with the app when I use CarPlay/Android Auto.

This happens because Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto uses Wi-Fi. Disconnect them temporarily to connect with the dashcam.
